How did you meet and when did you both realize your love for travel?
We’re from the same town and we both played football together when we where younger. A bit over two years ago we randomly saw each other at the gym and started to talk. A lot. A few weeks later Alex invited me to dinner and then we started dating. Alex had not been on a regular holiday, so I gave him a London trip for Christmas. I’ve been traveling a lot since I was a little girl so I already had it as a hobby. Now we both share all the adventures together and we’ve been traveling more for every year.
Where was your first destination together and tell us about it?
Well, as we told you guys at the first question, I (Anne) surprised Alex on Christmas Eve with a trip to London. He told me way back that he always wanted to visit London but he never had the time to book a trip. So we flew over in April and had so much fun! Alex saw Big Ben, took London Eye and visited Nike Town for the first time. Haha, he went totally crazy and we where at Nike Town for like 4-5 hours straight. We had so much fun and got to do a lot of fun for three days. Then Alex was hooked on exploring new destinations.
How do you share your work on the road? Who does what?
When traveling we take as many pictures as possible and always focus on having a lot of Instagram material. With Anne being a professional photographer, you know I had to learn a thing or two about photography. So now we split it halfway.
How do you make decisions together for next destinations?
We usually find some different destinations we want to explore. Then we just decide based on which is more tempting. Pinterest is often used to find new cities we want to visit and to get some inspiration.
Have you noticed any changes in the relationship since you started traveling together?
Maybe a little cheesy answer, but we get closer every time we travel together.
Living and traveling together 24/7 can sometimes be stressful and relate to moments of disagreements or misunderstandings. How do you cope with these situations?
It always comes situations that may lead to some stress when we’re traveling. I stress a lot more than Alex does. When I’m stressing, he always manages to get me back on track and help me calm down. I guess I do the same thing for him. Haha.
What is the most beautiful moment you have experienced together while traveling?
That’s not an easy question, but if we had to choose it would be our mountain climb in Spain. Took almost 2 hours and it was over 30ºC. We were exhausted but the view was amazing. It was so worth it.
What do you like the most about traveling as a couple?
We like to travel together because then we get to experience and make even more beautiful memories together. Alexander is my best friend and my soulmate – nothing is better than to travel with the person you like the most.

That’s a good question!
How do you keep the relationship spark alive on the road?
That’s a tactic / advice we will keep to ourselves. 😉
What is one piece of advice you’d give to any couple wanting to travel together?
Based on our experience, making a massive plan for the trip just makes the trip stressful. Of course you should have a certain idea of what you want to do, but still take each day as it comes. Remember it’s an adventure and it should be fun. Enjoy your holiday!
